The Black Mysteries - "These Are The Keys To Your Endlessness. Your Endlessness Is The Key To These Keys" CD 21 September 2025

Even if you don't agree with such statements, Black Metal is a vast and unpredictable field within extreme music. No formula is right, you just need to feel it. Anyone can set rules about what is Black Metal and how it should sound or look and what it is all about. And everyone can break those said rules and open gates never crossed.

I can't say if The Black Mysteries play by any rules, break them or make their own, I never really cared about rules, what I can say is that Maurice de Jong expand his musical interest in such a vast spectrum that even if there are any rules, I'm confident he doesn't give them much of a thought.

This particular album by his The Black Mysteries project is such a journey that it is hard to catalogue. By the artist's words, "it is weird", but I don't see weirdness here, I see character!

Black Metal with an old vibe, outdated in a world of polished precision and reeking of feeling and deviance!

To all US supporters, customers and friends,

As must of you probably know, many national transport companies are suspending shipments to the US, this suspension includes the portuguese mail service provided by CTT.

All these companies across Europe need to figure out how the new tariffs will work and get systems ready for it and since not even the US government seems to know how to handle all this, everything is suspended until further notice. This will affect the sales to the US and I can no longer ship any orders made, therefore, I'm not accepting any orders made by US residents.

Ever since I first heard Defuntos, back in the early days of the band, that I consider them one of the most unique projects in the fields of Black Metal and that's reason enough to warmly welcome them at Nekrogoat Heresy every time I have the opportunity to release their work.

Their unique approach to the Low-fi Black Metal sets them apart from everyone else, not only in the Portuguese scene, but also worldwide.

There is a feeling emanating from their music, a sense of sorrow, doom and longing for the old, as well as a deep hatred for the loss of memory of those no longer among us. This new manifestation is the perfect soundtrack for wandering into abandoned places, not necessarily empty...
